Face of the Day: Work day Chic + Prestige Cosmetics Mini Review

By Trecee Hutchinson - 12:07:00 PM

Today, I want to talk about a brand that doesn't get that much coverage throughout the beauty community. A few months ago, I was doing my usual lunch time browsing at Ulta and ran across the brand Prestige Cosmetics.

I had not really seen anyone talking about these products, but I'm a sucker for clean black and white packaging and the products looked like they would be good, so I decided to grab one eye shadow just to try.

So, I get home and try them out and OMG!! I was so impressed by the pigmentation of this product. The color was so creamy and when I wore that first eye shadow to a party I got so many compliments and it lasted the whole night. I decided to go back and purchase more colors and different lines of the Prestige Total Intensity Eyeshadows. This is going to be a multi part series since I have so many different types of products.

Today we are going to talk about the True Metals Collection.

Let's Start off with the basics; swatches and prices.

Price: $9.75

Availability: Prestige Website or K-Mart.
Top with flash, bottom in natural light; L to R: Gilded, Bronze, and Copper
Gilded is a true Gold color with a almost antique gold feel to it.
Bronze is a true golden bronze color.
Copper is my personal favorite. It's a true reddened Copper color. It reminds me of a shiny penny
Review:

As you can see from the swatches, these eye shadows are super saturated with pigmentation. They also apply super creamy. They last forever on the eye and the shine is amplified with a neutral base. I honestly have nothing negative to say. I even purchased some of these for my best friend to try and she loves them as well. Go out and find these at your local K-Mart or buy them online you will not be disappointed.

Below is a look I created using two of these shadows. All other products used will also be listed.
