Summer 2016 Beauty Wishlist9:25:00 AM
Now that it's full fledged summer, I have been having a little itch to do some shopping.
....And of course shopping means new makeup! I think its time for a little upgrade. Today, I want to share some of the items I have on my beauty wishlist (and shopping cart) to purchase within the next month or so. I am looking forward to trying out new brands and more high end products. I also want to get a good eye cream, cause Wrinkles...
Anastasia Beverly Hills Moon Child Glow Kit $40:
I actually just ordered this on the Anastasia Beverly Hills website and excitement is literally not a big enough word to describe how I feel about getting this palette in the mail. The main reason, I chose this palette was because how different and unique the colors are and I love the " That Glow" glow kit.
The colors featured in this kit:
Blue Ice - Diamond white with an icy blue reflect
Star - A moonstone fusion of mint, platinum and silver reflect
Purple Horseshoe - A glittering lavender with an arctic blue reflect
Pink Heart - Pearl white with a pink opal reflect
Lucky Clover - A shamrock-infused gold with canary yellow diamond reflect
Blue Moon - Frozen blue with a silver reflect
Tarte x Shayla Contour kit $45
Makeup Shayla is one of my favorite Instagram makeup artists and ironically, I don't own any contour kits so I am going to go ahead and pick this one up. So many good things have been said about Tarte products and I got a chance to swatch the other contour kit and the powder feels so smooth and blendable so this is a must have for me.
Tom Ford Orchid Soleil $120
Tom Ford has the best perfume hands down and scent is soooo inportant to me. I have Velvet Orchid and Oud Wood and about once a year I like to pick up a new scent and not only is the packaging gorgeous but I love warm fragrances and I can best describe this as a warm yet light scent. These scents also last forever so they are well worth the investment.
Tuberose Petals, Black Orchid, Headspace, Spider Lily Accord, Vanilla, Chestnut, Cream Accord, Patchouli.
Radiant. Sensual. Warm.
Cover FX Custom Enhancer Drops in Candelight $42
This by far is one of the most interesting products that I've seen in a minute. It's basically a liquid highlighter that can be added into other products to adjust the shade or enhance the sheen. It looks like you can add these drops to moisturizer, primer, foundation etc for an illuminating effect. I saw some swatches on Instagram and instantly fell in love with Candelight (a deep shimmery golden bronze) and I can't wait to get these to use in foundation for a summer glow!
