So I'm totally late to the party on this one, but I couldn't not share my thoughts on this product!

Celebrity makeup Artist Pat McGrath has released three limited edition MOTHRSHP palettes for the Spring through her brand Pat McGrath Labs and I couldn't resist picking up the Sublime Bronze Ambition palette when I swatched it in Sephora a few weeks ago.

Her regular line of products is quite expensive with eye shadow palettes coming in at $125, but this 6 pan palette is $55 for .42 oz of product so I decided to pick it up so I could see if these palettes really live up to the hype.

Why I Love It

The Pat McGrath shadow formula is truly life changing! Not only is each shade in this palette extremely pigmented and opaque with one swipe, the blend-ability of these shadows are also really good. Although I find that the shades in this palette are a bit basic shade selection wise, the formula makes it worth every single penny. The shimmers in this palette is literally every thing you want in a eyeshadow! Buttery with smooth pigment that doesn't emphasize any texture you may have on the eye lid.

Since I purchased this palette a few weeks ago, I've been wearing it non stop and have become spoiled by the longevity and pigment. It's super easy to apply, which I think makes this palette ideal for beginners. The Bronze Ambition palette is also easy for combining colors. All the tones are complementary and the colors progress in a gradient gradually getting darker. There is one matte shade in this palette and it the perfect crease shade and complements all of the shimmers in the palette well.

My favorite shade in this palette is Gilt Trip, which is a pale gold shade. It's so pretty as an inner corner highlight or as an all over lid shade.

All in all, I would definitely recommend trying out this palette or any of the other mini palettes in this line. I think it's the perfect introduction to the brand and fits well within my makeup collection. If you're a neutral girl or don't have a huge makeup collection this palette will be the perfect addition to your makeup stash. This palette has made me want the whole entire Pat McGrath collection, but I'm coming for her new glosses and the Rose en Vie palette next!

Check out a look I did below using all the shades in the palette!
