This past weekend was a huge weekend in NOLA. Beside it being the
weekend after Thanksgiving, the city is flooded with people in town for
the Annual College Bowl football game, the Bayou Classic. At this time of
the year, New Orleans is a non stop party for a weekend and there were
so many festivities going on. Usually I sit out this festival because I
genuinely can't deal with crowds, but one of my friends was visiting
from New York City and insisted that I accompany her to a concert for
her favorite rapper, Boosie.
Y'all... to say I was out of my comfort zone was an understatement. I also am dressed a little more risque then normal, but I wanted to dress for the occasion. I will say I enjoyed spending time with my girlfriend and I always enjoy getting dressed up and playing in makeup.
For my makeup, I decided to go in a bold, yet toned down look incorporating my Urban Decay Electric palette along with some glitter from JCat (here) and simple Mauve (my fave!) glossy lips
