The Best Eyeshadow at the Drug Store?: Nyx Prismatic Eyeshadow Review + Swatches8:23:00 PM
I love a good sparkle. When it comes to eye makeup, the more metallic and glitter the better.Last year, Nyx came out with a range of ultra metallic eye shadows called Prismatic Eye shadows. These are describes as Ultra Pigmented glistening eye shadows!
These eye shadows have easily become my favorite drug store formula. The things that I enjoy the most about this formula are:
Silky Smooth TextureThese shadows are super soft and apply to the eye really easily. They are easier to break, but personally I haven't had any issues with breaking, In this case, soft is definitely a good thing.
Great Color RangeThe original released featured 12 vibrant shades, but 12 more shades were just added to the collection. There are also a mix of neutrals and brights so there is a little something for everyone.
Minimal FalloutTypically with a softer texture shadow, there tends to be more fall out because softer shadows are typically more fragile. These don't do that though, I can apply to my lids without having eye shadow all over my cheeks when I'm finished.
Super pigmentedOmg! These shadows are freaking amazing. There are no duds in this bunch. All of the shades I have are fully opaque and you don't have to do a whole lot of packing on which I love in an eyeshadow.
Long WearingMy favorite thing about these shadows is that they stay vibrant through out the whole day. Now of course, I wear primer but I just love that they don't fade or become dull after a few hours of wear.
AffordableThese retail for about $5.99 on the Nyx and Ulta Websites but Ulta typically has a BOGO half off deal.
