The Only Liquid Lipstick You Need this Fall/ Winter: Colourpop Lip Try On + Swatches

By Trecee Hutchinson - 11:12:00 AM

Colourpop is one of those brands that I love to stock up on because they are so affordable and the quality far surpasses the price point. As I transition to Fall/Winter, my go to lip colors get deeper and more nude and I thought it would be the perfect time to show case some of my favorite colors with a little lip try on.

Colourpop offers its liquid lipsticks in 2 very different formulas: Ultra Matte and Ultra Satin.

  • Ultra matte: lips dry down to a smear proof finish. They are not the most comfortable, with some colors being more drying then others, but for the price I think this is an exceptional product.
  • Ultra Satin : This formula is way more comfortable, but still full of pigment. These are not Kiss Proof and will smear, but are still suprisingly long wearing
The best thing about these is definitely the price point! They are 6 dollars each and you get a good amount of product. I also love that Colourpop is constantly dropping new shades to go with every single trend. Making it much easier to keep up with all of the latest lip trends without killing your budget.

Echo Park with a nude lipliner

Echo Park (Warm Peachy Nude)

This nude colors pulls really light on me so I definitely wear this beauty with liner and even more frequently to brighten up another color.

Frick n Frack
Frick and Frack

Frick and Frack (Rosy Terracotta)

Terracotta is on trend for the fall and Frick and Frack is the perfect shade for deeper skin tones. It's warm, but not too warm that it looks like a weird orange color.

More Better (Deep Violet Wine)

This is one of my favorite deep berry pinks. It reminds me of a slightly deeper Flat Out Fabulous from Mac and is the perfect berry pink shade for cold weather because there is hint of brightness without being over the top.

Zipper (Deep Blackened Purple)

I love this shade because it's vampy without being completely black. It really reminds me of a slightly deeper Heroine by Mac. This shade is perfect for a minimal makeup look with a pop of color.

Sting Raye
Sting Raye

Sting Raye (Dusty Rose Nude)

This shade is my favorite of the bunch. It's the perfect nude for my skin tone, but I think it would be a gorgeous rose pink on lighter skin. This color is a great nude for fall/winter and this shade is my every day fave!
