Spring Haul Update: Mini Product Reviews

By Trecee Hutchinson - 9:43:00 AM

So recently I posted about two separate purchases I made. One was products from the drugstore and the other was higher end products.

It's been a few weeks and I have had time to play and test out some of the products of the things I got and I wanted to give you all my thoughts so far...

Becca Ever Matte Foundation

I love the finish and coverage of this foundation. It lasted all day and didn't get oily. I have dry skin, but my t-zone can start sweating in this humid ass climate I live in but the foundation held up well when I wore it out for a night of drinking and to an outdoor festival.

Wearing Becca Ever Matte Foundation in the Shade "Mahogany" and Anastasia Dip Brow in "Granite"

Maybelline Age Rewind

I actually love the color match for me. It is my perfect summer color. I also felt like this had really good coverage. This foundation needs to sit and dry on the skin before applying anything over it. I used a stippling brush from Real Techniques to place this product and the Beauty Blender to blend it out and it held up nicely and didn't get oily on me or splotchy on my skin. This is perfect for everyday use in my opinion.

Lorac Highlighter  in " Twilight"

People are really sleeping on these Lorac Highlighters, they are AH- mazing! The color is a light gold and is so reflective and not glittery at all. I also love how these can be built up for more intensity. It's so finely milled and I have literally worn this everyday and I have not gotten tired of it at all.

Revlon Photoready Eye Art in "Peach Prism"

I have mixed feeling about this product. The glitter is gorgeous and when used over an eye shadow performs really well. However, I hated the cream shadow! It applied patchy and creased badly. I also had such a hard time blending out the cream shadow. I am going to keep using this product, but only for the glitter. My favorite thing about the glitter is that its a liquid that dries down and  it is so easy to apply. Perfect for a pop of shimmer!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow in "Granite"

I love this so much! I have this in dark brown, but I think Granite is a perfect fit for my dark hair. I love the formula of the dip brow. It's one of the only things that I can use on my brows that lasts all day. I also like this because you don't need a lot of product to get a good application.
