Picking up Popular Beauty Products: Mini Haul featuring Laura Mercier, Becca and Coloured Raine

By Trecee Hutchinson - 9:37:00 PM

I have a Saturday ritual of sleeping in, skipping breakfast and going shopping. Sometimes I window shop, but today I came across a few things that I got on a whim and I also placed an online order for a few products I have been wanted to try out.

Typically, I am a heavy Ulta shopper, but Sephora has been calling my name for a while.

Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette

I was going to totally pass on this palette. I typically don't run out and get hyped up items like EVER. I happen to see this wandering through Sephora and I swatched it and I was immediately sold. Every single item is abosolutely gorgeous. I was going to pick up one of the Champagne splits, but figured I could just spend an extra few dollars ($52) and get the additional products. Definitely a better value. I am looking forward to testing out this palette fully. I love Becca Shimmering Skin Perfectors because they manage to be luminous and shimmery, but can still be blended out to a just enough finish. I had also been dying to try the Luminous blushes, so I was thrilled to see Rose Spritz featured in the palette. Although these are not full sized products, it's not a huge deal to me because I never use up items like this any way. I cannot wait to incorporate this into summer makeup routine.

L to R: Rose Spritz, Amaretto, Pamplemousse, Champagne Pop, and Prosecco Pop

Laura Mercier Translucent Powder

Setting powders are my weakness and i love trying new powder. The Laura Mercier setting has been really hyped up in the beauty community but was a bit out of my price range, but when I saw that there was a mini version for $23 with a puff, I decided to try it out. I have used this about 4 times since purchasing it and it was so worth the hype. My under eye looks so flawless with this powder and the texture of the powder is really nice. It's Extremely finely milled and actually translucent. I also love that it actually CONTROLS oil and controls it well. 10/10 would purchase the large size when this one runs out.

Coloured Rain Lip Paint in " Suite Raine" and "Ruthy"

Suite Raine and Ruthy

I have been seeing Coloured Raine cosmetics on some of my favorite MUAs for a while now. The have a growing line of eyeshadow, glitter, lashes and nail polish but are most known for their Matte Lip Paint. I picked up two colors Suite Raine, a purple with navy undertones and Ruthy, a metallic deep dusty Rose. I have worn these a few times and I absolutely love the formula of these. They aren't too drying and are comfortable, which always makes a liquid lipstick worth in in my opinion. These retail for $17 dollars, but when I checked the website, certain shades were on sale.  The metallic shade is not as glittery or metallic as one would expect (as you will see in the swatch), but it is still really pretty and long wearing.

Comment below if you have picked up any of these raved about beauty products and what you think of them.
