3 Makeup Kits You Need Right Now: Sephora Edition

By Trecee Hutchinson - 8:05:00 PM

When I am looking to try out a variety of new beauty products without blowing my budget, I always turn to value sets!
Value sets are typically little fun samplers of different products usually based on a theme like a particular brand or specific type of item. During the Holidays, there are literally makeup kits and palettes popping up every where, but right now there are still a few worth checking out.
Sephora hands down offers the best value sets on the market and today I want to share 3 that you need in your life like today.

Sephora Favorites - Chic It Easy ($49 for $143 worth of product)

This set is a French beauty themed kit and features 5 deluxe sized and 2 full sized French beauty essential. The Chic it Easy set is ideal for someone who like minimal makeup but still wants a little added drama with a bold red lip. I have a few of the NARS lipsticks and the formula is amazing and I also love the MAKE UP FOREVER Aqua XL eye pencils. Also, another hidden gem in this kit it the Formula X Nail Color. I have a dark red color and I love the brush on these. So easy to get an even coat of polish. Although I won't get any use out of the complexion products. I am excited to try the other 6 products so it's still worth it in my opinion

It includes:

- 0.14 oz Atelier Cologne in Orange Sanguine Cologne Absolue
- 1 oz Caudalie Beauty Elixir
- 0.13 oz Formula X The Colors Nail Polish in Pyrotechnic
- 1 oz Klorane Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk
- 1 oz Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 20 in Nude
- 0.01 oz MAKE UP FOR EVER Aqua XL Eye Pencil in M-10
- 0.11 oz NARS Cosmetics Lipstick in Jungle Red
- 0.1 oz Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat in No. 2 Luminous Ivory

Too Faced - The Power of Makeup by Nikkie Tutorials ($56 for $208 worth of products)

I can't even lie and say that I haven't been super excited for this kit. Personally, I love Too Faced and I think that this set is a good buy. I love that includes not only powder products such as eye shadow and blush, but also purple mascara and a full sized liner. I plan on ordering this kit and would honestly recommend based on the blushes alone! The Loved Flush blushes are amazing and last forever.

The Power of Makeup includes:

9 x 0.004 oz Eye shadow in Painkiller, Frosted Yun, Sugar Coated, Wham Bam, Makeup and Chill, Ivy, Wanted, Mystic Hour, Irresistible
- 2 x 0.36 oz Love Flush Long-Lasting Blush in I Will Always Love You, Justify My Love
- 0.11 oz Highlighter in Champagne Truffle
- 0.11 oz Chocolate Soleil Bronzer
- 0.035 oz Glamour Dust Glitter Pigment in Glitterally
- 0.17 oz Shadow Insurance 24-Hour Eye Shadow Primer
- 0.17 oz Better Than Sex Mascara in Purple
- 0.015 oz Sketch Marker Liquid Art Eyeliner in Deep Black

 It's All a Blur - Milk Makeup ($48 for $64 in products)

Milk Makeup is a new brand to Sephora that focuses on multi use products that allow you to complete your make up quickly. I must say I love playing in makeup, but during the week I am on the constant go so this really intrigued. The It's All a Blur contains everything you need to get your face on quickly or refresh yourself mid day. I love that this includes a micellar water to help you quickly remove your makeup if you need to. The price of this is also really fair to say you get to try such an array of products. This is perfect for me on the days when I'm not trying to be extra, but still want to be polished and pulled together.

What's Included:

- 1 oz Natural Dry Shampoo
- 0.04 oz Mini Lip Color in Grrl
- 0.33 oz Mini Face Mist
- 0.25 oz Mini Ubame Mascara
- 0.1 oz Mini Highlighter
- Biodegradable Micellar Water Makeup Remover Wipe
- Blur Makeup Bag
